CalPERS Settlement

The class notice from the Los Angeles Superior Court re: CalPERS Settlement provides information about a proposed class-wide settlement of the claims for pension benefits in the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (“CalPERS”), a hearing at which the Court will consider giving final approval of the settlement, and the class members’ opportunity to object to the settlement. 

The CalPERS  Settlement is separate and distinct from the Administrative Code settlement which the Court approved in August, 2006. To be eligible to participate in the CalPERS  Settlement, class members must complete the CalPERS claim form and send it to class counsel by no later than February 29, 2008.
