HOOVER POWER CONTRACT REAUTHORIZATION

As part of a tri-state coalition effort, Metropolitan is urging the Southern California Congressional Delegation to support proposed legislation by Representative Grace Napolitano to reauthorize the current Hoover Power Contract  and extend it for an additional 50 years.  This emission-free source of power is essential to Southern California’s water supply delivery and is a valuable component of the region’s power supply.
